Setting the scene: how to arrange wine glasses at the table
This is a subtitle for your new post

At our vineyard, we believe the wine experience begins long before the first sip – it starts with the table setting. Whether hosting a tasting, dinner, or celebration, placing wine glasses correctly is essential to both presentation and practicality.
Glassware placement
We always position wine glasses to the right of the dinner plate. Even when space is tight, this placement ensures guests can easily reach their glass without disrupting the flow of service.
Formal arrangements
For formal events, we follow a diagonal layout: the water glass sits at the top left, with wine glasses descending to the bottom right. This elegant arrangement helps guide the order of service and adds visual harmony to the table.
Glass types do matter
Each wine deserves its own glass. Sparkling wines are served in tall flutes to preserve bubbles, white wines in narrower glasses to maintain crispness, and red wines in wider bowls to enhance aroma. We select glassware carefully to complement the wine’s character.
Spacing and comfort
We space each glass evenly, allowing guests to lift and swirl without knocking into other items. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference in comfort and enjoyment.
Cohesive table design
Wine glasses are part of the overall table aesthetic. We align them with cutlery and plates to create a balanced, polished look. It’s not just about function – it’s about creating an atmosphere that reflects the care we put into our wines.
By thoughtfully arranging wine glasses, we elevate the entire dining experience. It’s one more way we share our passion for wine – from vineyard to table.
